On February 27, 2014, Gary Terzano, a 1966 graduate of Hackensack High School, sent me a list of servicemen he had received from Bradley Clay, a 1966 Hackensack High School graduate.  Herbert (Herbie) Carroll’s name was on that list telling of his branch of service.

While talking to Herbert Carroll on May 2, 2016 in front of where he lives in Windfall Towers in Hackensack when I was visiting my father, Herbert told me he was in the Army and served with the 1st Calvary Division with a Chemical group for about 10 months in Vietnam. Herbert Carroll could not recall exactly the year he graduated, but said it was in the mid-nineteen sixties.
